Job Description

An opportunity is available for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Oakland, CA. This contract position is designed to cover a leave period, providing vital support to students requiring adapted physical education services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing individualized physical education programs tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Assessing students physical abilities and adapting activities to promote inclusion and skill development.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support for student growth.
