Working from our Oak Brook, IL office, we are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Intern to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the REIT industry and the specific function relating to the internship. Interns will assist with a wide range of duties and will have the opportunity to interface with various business departments.

The Accounting department handles budget management, the billing of tenants and vendors, and organizes financial data for analysis. The team is made up of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Lease Analysis & Administration, and Property Operations. An intern would be placed in one of these sectors of accounting. Duties and responsibilities for the intern will include the following:

• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist with audits
• Contribute to month-end financial reports
• Other quarterly tasks and projects needed by the team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Accounting major or courses taken
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
