Job Summary: The Accounting Analyst is a member of the Finance Organization and will report directly to the Controller. This role is an individual contributor role and will play a key role in supporting the Controllers organization in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, compliance with financial regulations, coordination of audits and driving efficiency by leveraging technology across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Reporting: Analyze financial data and prepare detailed financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.

Financial Close : Support month-end and year-end close activities and drive for simplification, efficiency and accuracy in the closing process.

Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts across the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements to ensure accurate financial records.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.

Audit Support: Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and compliance purposes inclusive of tax compliance activities

Assurance Activities: Assists in the development, implementation and effectiveness of a fit for purpose effective control framework.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement to drive simplification, efficiency and standardization

Digitalization: Assist team in identifying and implementing digital solutions to drive efficiency in the accounting activities across the team

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, staying updated on changes in accounting policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA not required but a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.

Excellent collaboration skills, and proven ability to work across teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to communicate accounting / financial information to stakeholders with minimal background

Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

Ability to manage and prioritize workload during peak times
