Job Description

Our client, a leading global manufacturer in the industrial tools sector, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of heavy hydraulic attachments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization's values.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Two Harbors, MN

Pay Range: $21.05 - $32.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience

What's the Job?

• Perform GMAW/MIG/Wire feed welding to AWS D1.1 standards.
• Layout, fit-up, measure, and tack weldments according to specifications.
• Utilize personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety programs and policies.
• Assist in documenting standard work procedures and provide feedback for process improvement.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area, following 5S standards.

What's Needed?

• Good mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of weld symbols on blueprints.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Able to use standard repair and hand tools effectively.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral procedures and directions.
• Experience with arc air welding is beneficial, but training will be provided.
