About the Role
Our client is seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to join their growing team in Mequon, WI. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts with precision and efficiency. You’ll collaborate with engineers, leads, and fellow operators to troubleshoot issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, turning, and cutting operations.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Perform inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance and assist in troubleshooting machine/tooling issues.
• Document productivity, report part shortages, and communicate workflow disruptions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and 6S procedures.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to minimizing scrap and maximizing quality.
